AZERBAIJANI SONG:
HASIR-ABAD
Singer:
HASAN
HOSSEIN-POUR
TABRIZI
April 5, 2019
Hasan Hoseinpour Tabrizi was an Azerbaijani worker in Tehran, Iran.
His political song named after HASIR ABAD".
The name of a neighbourhood, where Mr. Hossein-pour Tabrizi beautifully portrayed its cultural, political and the socio-economic conditions and , as well as its impoverished people in the 40s.
The people who lived in the HASSIR-ABAD" of Tehran were mostly in a state of the extreme poverty within this small neighborhood in southern part of Tehran near the railway station.
It was near the"GHOM-ROK" square in the southern part of the Tehran-( میدان راه آهن (ضلع غربی میدان - , where the official brothel of Tehran was located.
It has been reported that this neighbourhood despite the huge wealth of Iran's government ( many billion dollars)from the selling of oil and other mineral resources , the people in the "Hassir Abad" neighbourhood were among the poorest
humans in the world.
When we accept that prostitution and poverty are interlinked, then we accept why prostitution became an institutionalized form of the sex industry in the "HASSIR-ABAD" neighbourhood.
Of course it was a practice of sexual relationship of the impoverished women who were selling their bodies for money.
The unlimited sexual acts was OK for women as long as money is available.
The human sex trafficking of women in the Hassir Abad was accepted as a normal thing by some authorities in Iran.
They didn't care why the crime rates of rape, violence and homicide became high among these poor people and those who were the sex workers in this neighbourhood.
The singer of "Hassir-Abad" was a communist. Hossein-Pour Tabrizi was born in the capital city of Azerbaijan, Soviet Republic on that time.
He and his family immigrated to Iran. Mr. Hosseinpour Tabrizi luckily got a job in the Railway Sector in the Ministry of Roads and Transportation in Iran.
After the military coup by CIA and Intelligent Service of the Great Britain in 1953, he left country for the purpose of education. He was arrested in the Lebanon, Beirut and hence he was extradited to the authorities of the Shah's regime in Iran.
Mr. Hosseinpour was imprisoned. In 1957 he was released from the prison. Then he found a job in the sector of the metal industries and then he was elected as the head of the administration in this field.
He believed, "The extremely scarce of the real opportunities for these women in the "Hassir Abad" of Tehran who were mostly from the other provinces and cities in Iran and who mostly were deprived from an education, is a multi-layered issue of the cultural, political and of course the socio-economic subject matters.
After the Islamic Revolution, on Sunday, February 6, 1983, Mr. Hossein-Pour Tabrizi was arrested and imprisoned. On Saturday Many 21, 1983 he lost his life in the prison while he was only 58 years old.
